Puebla is just a short drive from Mexico City. The almost 30-strong ABL-QIS team here offers first-class surface services for customers from the automotive sector and other industries. There are three large ovens for thermal paint stripping, each with a capacity of around 53 cubic metres. Parts up to a size of 2.50 m x 6.00 m x 2.50 m can be processed here. A bath room with a capacity of 2.7 m³ and a rinsing machine are available for chemical paint stripping. We also operate two shot blasting machines for the so-called shot blast process at the ABL site in Puebla. In this process, machined workpieces are mechanically cleaned using steel balls and high pressure. This allows pyrolysis residues to be thoroughly removed and, as no water is used, any corrosion of the 'bare' machined parts can be reliably excluded. Additional protection can be provided by corrosion coatings, which can be applied in the in-house coating facility in Puebla after the paint has been removed.
